● About

Where Community Comes First

The farm is situated on the Williams Treaty Territory and ancestral territory and lands of the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation. It is 35 acres of open fields, an hour outside of Toronto, where people of all abilities come together to carve out the kind of community that cares for one another through caring for the land and all its inhabitants.

We see possibility in problems, strive for serenity, take chances, dream big and find meaning from a connected community.

Because life should be beautiful,
full of good food, hard work, creativity and memory-making community.

Life at Havenhill

Coming in Fall 2028 - Havenhill will be host to a Homestead for young adults with developmental disabilities operated by Common Digs Community Homestead. We also have dreams of Respite Retreat Cabins for families and friends of all kinds. We blend the joy of meaningful work followed by evenings around the fire sparking reflection, laughter, and a deep sense of belonging.
